SPED Director
I enjoy every minute I spend with my students and work to help your child learn new skills and feel successful every day! I have over 20 years of experience in education. I spent my first-year teaching Kindergarten in China, many years teaching middle and high school Special Education and English Language Arts, a few years at The Pingree School as an Autism Specialist and three years as a grant writer. I am currently the Director of Special Education at Wasatch Peak Academy (since 2017) and serve on the Utah Charter Assistive Technology Study Team. When I am not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my husband Simon and two children Ava and Abraham. We often take adventures to explore the outdoors, travel, and have lots of fun along the way.

Sarah and her girls, Hanley and Hunter, moved to Utah in 2017 and they enjoy taking advantage of all that this part of the country has to offer. During her free time, you will find her maintaining the school garden (with the help of her husband, Nicholas), walking in North Salt Lake, or riding her bike with friends and family.
