Special Education

Bridget McFall

SPED Director

I enjoy every minute I spend with my students and work to help your child learn new skills and feel successful every day! I have over 20 years of experience in education. I spent my first-year teaching Kindergarten in China, many years teaching middle and high school Special Education and English Language Arts, a few years at The Pingree School as an Autism Specialist and three years as a grant writer. I am currently the Director of Special Education at Wasatch Peak Academy (since 2017) and serve on the Utah Charter Assistive Technology Study Team. When I am not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my husband Simon and two children Ava and Abraham. We often take adventures to explore the outdoors, travel, and have lots of fun along the way.

Sarah and her girls, Hanley and Hunter, moved to Utah in 2017 and they enjoy taking advantage of all that this part of the country has to offer. They say if you enjoy what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life!  I work with the BEST Special Education Team there is!  I love getting to know the students at WPA who manage to teach me more than I teach them.  Mrs. Amy is native to Woods Cross. She’s lived away but always found her way back home….even after living in Maui, Hawaii as a tourism intern. She graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor's degree in Finance. She retains her license in personal and commercial insurance. She’s an active member of the community HOA Board. She’s a mother of three, including twins. She enjoys going to dinner and spending movie nights with her husband and kids.
