I enjoy every minute I spend with my students and work to help your child learn new skills and feel successful every day! I have over 20 years of experience in education. I spent my first-year teaching Kindergarten in China, many years teaching middle and high school Special Education and English Language Arts, a few years at The Pingree School as an Autism Specialist and three years as a grant writer. I am currently the Director of Special Education at Wasatch Peak Academy (since 2017) and serve on the Utah Charter Assistive Technology Study Team. When I am not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my husband Simon and two children Ava and Abraham. We often take adventures to explore the outdoors, travel, and have lots of fun along the way.
Jessica loves working with the students and staff at WPA. She enjoys getting to know her students and seeing them grow and progress and feels like she has the best job ever.
They say if you enjoy what you do, you’ll never work another day in your life! I work with the BEST Special Education Team there is! The students at WPA teach me more than I teach them.
