Board of Directors

I am very excited to be joining the Wasatch Peak Academy Board of Directors! I am very conscious of the need to ensure that all students feel respected, included and have a sense of belonging. I feel privileged to be able to help ensure that other children have the same opportunity!

As the father of four elementary aged children and the husband of a teacher, Paul and his wife Jessica chose Wasatch Peak Academy for its proven record of academic excellence, service learning and Spanish instruction. Paul believes that spectacular administration, faculty & staff and the close involvement of parents in the learning process are what makes Wasatch Peak Academy a top ranked school.

I love that we have the opportunity as parents to be involved in our school and help teachers provide our students with better curriculum, resources, and individual opportunities to engage in the learning process. I am honored to be on the Board and continue to serve this great school in providing an atmosphere where a higher level of learning can take place in core subjects.

I am a mom, educator, business owner, and traveler come with over 15 years of knowledge and experience in education, with a strong focus in charter schools.  I graduated from Utah State University with my BS in Elementary Education, and later went back to school to earn my Masters in Educational Leadership.  I have been a teacher, reading specialist, curriculum director, and elementary principal.  I have also served as a leader on state school accreditation committees.  I have been impressed with the passion and commitment of the WPA school leadership and board to create and implement programs and systems that have led to lasting student success.
