I am a mom, educator, business owner, and traveler come with over 15 years of knowledge and experience in education, with a strong focus in charter schools.  I graduated from Utah State University with my BS in Elementary Education, and later went back to school to earn my Masters in Educational Leadership.  I have been a teacher, reading specialist, curriculum director, and elementary principal.  I have also served as a leader on state school accreditation committees.

I have been impressed with the passion and commitment of the WPA school leadership and board to create and implement programs and systems that have led to lasting student success.  

My husband and I stay busy keeping up with our 2 boys, as well as contributing to the community through our many business ventures.  Our family enjoys traveling, and my educator heart finds joy in facilitating vacations that align with our kid’s school curriculum.  We also love visiting Disney Parks, that while “less educational” teach our children about patience, commerce, and finding joy in family time.
