Jordan Sim started at W.P.A. in 2016. He believes that Wasatch Peak is a great school with an amazing service to country and community.
Jordan Sim was born and raised in Utah, growing up in West Jordan. In 2014 he graduated from the University of Utah with a bachelor's degree in history and a second in foreign policy. He greatly enjoys being an educator and seeing students grow beyond expectations. Before pivoting toward a teaching career he served six years in the United States Marine Corps as an infantryman, achieving the rank of Sergeant, and worked in a pathology research lab at the University of Utah. In 2017 he earned his Graduate Certificate of Teaching from Weber State University for grades 1-8.
He decided to join Wasatch Peak Academy and begin teaching after enjoying the work he had done volunteer teaching English to refugees from multiple countries. In his spare time he enjoys traveling, camping, cooking, and working on his Jeep and 1968 International Scout. He is excited to have the incoming 4th Graders who he saw master 3rd Grade just down the hall. He will ensure they complete new challenges, and excel in their education.
