Mrs. Thor is passionate about animals of all kinds and owns cats, geckos, poison dart frogs, and guinea pigs. She also fosters cats and kittens through CAWS (Community Animal Welfare Society). During her undergraduate studies she worked for a pet food company, which led her to meet the amazing volunteers in CAWS. This also inspired her to research more about animals, biology, and the needs of pets.

Mrs. Thor is an artist who enjoys drawing, painting, crocheting, sewing, and crafting of all kinds. She spent her first two years at the U of U as a visual arts major before coming to terms with her true calling of being a teacher. Mrs. Thor brings her love of the arts into the classroom and encourages her students to explore their own creativity.

Mrs. Thor loves teaching her students about anything and everything. She loves when her students work hard and recognize their improvements. She works hard to get to know every student in her class and hopes to instill a lifelong love of learning.
