My name is Sidnie Olsen and I am proud to be a part of the amazing team at Wasatch Peak Academy. As the school counselor, I advocate and empower by providing support to students' social, emotional and personal well-being as well as their academic needs and goals. With kindness, understanding, guidance and family support, all things are possible for our students at WPA and beyond!
I love assisting our students in becoming passionate, productive, resilient and KIND humans in the world. I am committed to providing a safe and positive school culture at WPA by recognizing, encouraging and celebrating each student's potential, creativity, diverse backgrounds and personal uniqueness.
It is inspiring to see our students become more equipped each year by gaining the essential skills and confidence to continue to strive for their personal best, no matter what their abilities may be, and become successful, lifelong learners.
My passion has been working in charter schools for the last 8+ years and I have a master's degree from the University of Utah in social work and licensed as a CSW.
In my free time, you can find me crafting, enjoying cuddling and playing with my cat, listening to country music and having fun with friends and family.
