John Lott

Mr. Lott grew up in a teaching family. His dad taught 7th grade for 33 and a half years, his paternal grandmother taught for over 40 years. His maternal grandfather also taught school for many years. Teaching is in his blood! He graduated from Utah Valley University in 2005 with a degree in Elementary Education, and has taught 4th, 5th, or 6th grade ever since that time. It his spare time Mr. Lott enjoys writing books and spending time with his family consisting of his wife, two sons, a daughter, and their fur baby, a Pugweenie named Charly. Together they love to camp and hike and spend time at a lake or the beach. Their favorite vacation together, so far, has been a trip to South Korea where they met with some of Mr. Lott's friends as well as his sister and her family who live there. Teaching has always been something that Mr. Lott knew he would do. He still has fond memories of helping his father set up his classroom before each school year, and can always feel that excitement for a new school year building inside of him each and every August. Get ready for a spectacular year!
