Joe Hall has been a teacher since 2009. Before starting at Wasatch Peak Academy, he taught in Cody, Wyoming. Although he has wanted to be a teacher since he was in the first grade, he comes to teaching later than most. 33 years in the Army in one form of another, a career with the Boy Scouts, and a career with an environmental company delayed the beginning of what he feels is his life’s calling.
His excitement about teaching stems from the firm belief that teaching is about relationships. He loves the chance to create life long bonds in the classroom and watch the students grow personally and academically.
Joe is married and has four children ranging in age from 7 to 19 years old. His family enjoys camping (OK, glamping) and movies. His hobbies include sewing, woodworking, and 3d printing. He spends his free time creating and looks forward to creating in the classroom this year; creating life long learners, excitement for learning, and friendships.
