Angie Rohr started teaching at WPA in 2017 and has loved everything about it! She earned her undergraduate degree in mild/moderate special education at the University of Utah and her master's degree in elementary education at Utah State University. She has endorsements in mathematics and in English as a second language. She has experience in teaching students of all abilities. She has experience with K-9th grade. Her favorite grades to teach are 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, with 3rd being the best grade!
Ms. Rohr is passionate about animals of all kinds and owns a dog, cats, an axolotl, poison dart frogs, and a crested gecko. She also fosters cats and kittens through CAWS (Community Animal Welfare Society). During her undergraduate studies, she worked for a pet food company, which led her to meet the amazing volunteers in CAWS. This also inspired her to research more about animals, biology, and the needs of pets.
Ms. Rohr is an artist who enjoys drawing, painting, crocheting, sewing, and crafting of all kinds. She spent her first two years at the U of U as a visual arts major before coming to terms with her true calling of being a teacher. Ms. Rohr brings her love of the arts into the classroom and encourages her students to explore their own creativity.
Ms. Rohr loves teaching her students about anything and everything. She loves when her students work hard and recognize their improvements. She works hard to get to know every student in her class and hopes to instill a lifelong love of learning.
