I’m excited to be a new teacher this year at WPA. I recently graduated from Western Governors University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. I completed my student teaching in a third-grade classroom at Jefferson Academy. Prior to my student teaching, I worked as a teacher’s aide for six years. It was during this time that I realized just how much I love teaching and working with young children, which inspired me to go back to school to achieve my teaching degree. During my free time, I enjoy hiking, cooking, crafting, as well as spending time with my family and friends. As a teacher, I know I will love getting to know each and every one of my students. My hope is to create a fun and wholesome classroom environment where we all learn to work together to make a difference. I truly believe that all students can learn and grow if they are given the tools and opportunities, they need in order to succeed. I’m thrilled to be joining such an amazing team here at WPA.
