Kitchen Assistant |
Wasatch Peak Academy, a well established charter school located in North Salt Lake, Utah, is now accepting applications for Kitchen Assistants. Position will work two (2) hours per day.
Position will help in the lunchroom, and with lunch recess duty. Qualified applicants must have the ability to work with students, acquire a food handler permit and have very basic computer skills to use the lunch program.

Lunchroom/Recess Monitor |
Wasatch Peak Academy, a well established charter school located in North Salt Lake, is now accepting applications for a lunchroom/recess monitor. Interested and qualified applicants must complete an application via the Academica West website at www.academicawest.com. In addition to a completed application, applicants may also submit a resume or questions to Careers@academicawest.com, a resume may also be delivered in person to WPA at 141 N. Cutler Drive, North Salt Lake City, Utah.
The position is part-time and requires valid food handler’s permit/pass background check. Qualified candidate will earn $7.00 per hour. Must have basic computer skills and the ability to work with students. Prior experience working with children or food is a plus but not required.

Teaching Assistant, Bilingual English/Spanish (6 hours per day) |
Wasatch Peak Academy is now accepting applications for a bilingual English/Spanish teaching assistant for grades K-6. This position will be assigned to work with students and teachers throughout the day. Candidates must be fluent in both English and Spanish, and be able to teach Spanish to small groups of students under the direction of a qualified teacher. This position is for the 2010-2011 school year.
Qualified applicants will have passed the PRAXIS exam, or have an associate’s degree (or equivalent credits towards a bachelor's degree). Preference may be given to applicants who have previous experience teaching.

Teaching Assistants (grades k-6) |
Wasatch Peak Academy is now accepting applications for Elementary Teaching Assistants to work with students grades k-6. These positions will work under the direction of a lead teacher to assist students with literacy and numeracy. Candidate must be willing to attend training for these positions.
