I was born in Bogota, Colombia. I was adopted when I was 14 months old by a wonderful family from Woods Cross, UT. I attended the old WX elementary school, South Davis Jr. High, and WX High. I went to college on a soccer and academic scholarship at a small college in Hobbs, NM. While I was there I met my awesome husband. We are blessed with two beautiful children.

I am very physically active. I play on a coed indoor soccer team and a women's out door soccer team. I play coed softball for my church. I love to run and play volleyball. I also love to read and do puzzles. I enjoy spending time with my family and I count my blessing everyday.

I believe staying Physically active is very important. Not only for our body, but also for our minds, and emotional well being. I believe what our children do now to stay physically fit will benefit them when they are adults. No matter what the physical activity may be walking, jogging, karate, gymnastics, dance, etc... it is so important to do something. It also needs be something that they enjoy that they will carry on into adulthood. I also believe that as parents we need to be examples to our children. If they see us being physically active our children are more likely to follow our example. So parents get out there and be physically active. Be great roll models for our children.

I love teaching at WPA. We have an AWESOME student body, faculty and staff. As well as one of the best PTO's I have ever worked with. I feel wanted, needed and that I am a part of a wonderful community. I am truly grateful for the opportunity to be teaching at WPA and to be making a positive difference in the lives of our next generation.
