I was born in the beautiful city of San Salvador, El Salvador. As a young adult, I moved to the United States to further my education and broaden my opportunities. I attended the English program at BYU and attended two years at UVCC, now known as UVSC. My family has since brought me here to North Salt Lake where I live with my four darling children: two boys, 23 and 18, and two girls, 6 and 7. I have had many years of experience substitute teaching for the Davis School District. I was also responsible for organizing the ESL program at Newman Elementary in Rose Park. My hobbies include traveling and seeing new places, cooking exciting foods and spending time with my children. I feel it a privilege to work in the schools of our great community and find great satisfaction in the small part I play in the shaping of our future generations.
