Hello Patriots!
My name is Marci Tribe. My family has had students at Wasatch Peak Academy since it opened its doors in 2005. I served as PTO Treasurer for several years, and worked at WPA as a substitute teacher before being hired for the Title 1 program in 2009-2010.
I was born and raised in Salt Lake, and earned Bachelor’s Degrees in English and French from the University of Utah. I have always been passionate about reading, and love that I get to spend my time helping others learn to love it too. I am trained in the University of Utah's acclaimed Early Steps and Next Steps reading intervention programs. I am a recipient of the 2011 George S. and Dolores Dore Eccles Scholarship for a year-long intensive course and practicum in the Wilson Reading System, and by the end of the 2012 school year will be a certified Wilson Level 1 Instructor.
