Candace Mikesell
It has always been a goal of mine to become a teacher, and now I have the great opportunity to be teaching at Wasatch Peak Academy. I graduated from Weber State University with my Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education with an ESL endorsement.
I have been married to Ryan, the most wonderful man, for almost three years. We have a cat named Chase and a dog named Sam. Ryan and I love to camp, bike, swim, play sports, and just about anything that involves family or friends. We especially love to just relax and lie in our hammock.
I have lived in South Weber my whole life, and my husband and I are remodeling my grandmother’s old house. The majority of my family lives within a five-minute driving distance. You could say we have a very close family.
I’m looking forward to meeting each of you this school year. I know we will have a great time discovering new things and gaining more knowledge along with a greater understanding about science, social studies, and other subjects. I just can’t wait to get started!
