Brittney Bergen
Hello! My name is Brittney Bergen and I’m thrilled to join the exceptional faculty of Wasatch Peak Academy. Our third grade class will be a community of learners, committed to education, service, and community. I realize the third grade is a pivotal building block for the years that lie ahead. In cooperation with co-workers and parents, I am committed to making a difference in my students’ lives. My goal is to see them move forward in life with confidence and enthusiasm. Hopefully, after many years of teaching, I will be approached in the least likely places by past students who fondly remember their third grade experience.
I have lived in Salt Lake City for most of my life. I truly feel that this is a great place to learn and teach! In 2005, I graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Science in Economics. Teaching and working with children has always been my true passion. Prior to pursuing teaching, I worked in the insurance industry. In January, I will be graduating from the University of Phoenix with a Masters of Arts in Elementary Education.
I have been married to my wonderful husband, Patrick, for just over two years. We live in Sugarhouse and have been working on the endless endeavor of remodeling our home. My extended family includes many small cousins who frequent our home, and are source of inspiration and teaching advice. My hobbies include traveling, gardening, working out, and spending time with family and friends. I look forward to meeting all of you!
