Angela Rooney

email | website

Hi! My name is Angela Rooney. I grew up in Cedar Falls, Iowa. After graduating high school I joined the U. S. Air Force. Upon completion of basic training I was assigned to Luke AFB, AZ near Phoenix. There I met my husband, Phil, also active duty Air Force.

I received my Bachelor of Science while attending night classes. I deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003. We were reassigned to Hill AFB a couple years later, and in 2006, I transitioned from active duty to an Air Force reservist.

I feel as though I have the best of both worlds; inspiring young minds and serving my country.

My husband and I reside in Layton with our two beautiful children, Jacob who is 4 yrs. old and Jessilyn who is 2. I love to spend time with my family, explore new places, camp, and read. I am very excited to begin a new school year and meet all of you!
